Flame Retardant Gelcoats
Chekad Flame Retardant Gelcoats are typically used for indoor places where there is a risk of fire. Parts produced with this type of gelcoat act as self-extinguishing when exposed to direct flame and do not spread fire.
Application:
They are ideal where chemical and mechanical resistance is not necessary but fire retardant is required, like bus and train panels, GRP furniture and etc.
Chekad Flame Retardant Gelcoat is provided with the following codes:
- GC 1000 FR: Flame retardant Vinyl Ester Gelcoat.
- GC 2000 FR: Flame retardant ISO Gelcoat.
- GC 3000 FR: Flame retardant Ortho Gelcoat.
This gelcoat can be supplied either transparent or in the desired color according to customer requirements. (Please note that colored gelcoats cannot be returned after ordering.)
