Unsaturated Polyester Resins

Chekad produces different grades of Unsaturated Polyester Orthophthalic resin (UP resins) for producing composite parts.

Chekpol 190, an orthophthalic polyester resin is used for the production of fiberglass parts, sculptures and, general industrial parts.

Properties of this product include:

  • High mechanical properties
  • Suitable viscosity for the necessary permeability in fibers
  • Moderate curing activity

Chekpol-190 IM an unsaturated polyester resin based on orthophthalic acid, is used in the production of the tank and water transmission pipelines by GRP method.

Properties of this product include:

  • Superior mechanical properties (Due to the lack of air cell formation)
  • Suitable viscosity for an intermediate resin (Fast resin permeability in fibers)
  • Semi-fast curing activity
